This weekend gathering coincides with the 100th anniversary of my great-grandfather James Sheppard. We are all there to unveil a memorial to him. Incidentally, my uncle and father are attending it, their

For years I have been blaming The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whose 'Ancestry' family trees are - or were - notoriously difficult to amend, and hence never were.
This year, Millennia Corporation will be celebrating their 29th year in business, and the 17th year since they first released their Legacy Family Tree genealogy software.

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of watching La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty), an epic Italian film in the style of Fellini’s La Dolce Vita, but with more cinematic greatness achieved by the advances in technology since the 1960s as well as a more existential examination of life. Since I saw it, it has won a Golden Globe for the Best Foreign Language Film, something it
