Obtaining Hong Kong death certificates for anyone who died in the 19th. century is difficult, if not impossible.  However, all is not lost if the individual was a British soldier - or was the wife or child of a British soldier.  The answer lies in the Army Chaplain's Registers held by the General Register Office in the UK.  Back in the 1980s I spent weeks extracting Hong Kong related entries from the GRO indexes.  The story of this task, plus a list of Hong Kong British Army Deaths 1860 - 1867 a

I am trying to find sources for the wife of my fifth great grandfather, Robert Hunter of Giles County, Virginia. I have several names for her, but feel a mistake has been made with the name of Atkins. I feel her name is Mildred (Millie) Lewis, but cannot find any records for her birth, marriage or death. Thank you.

  Before the  drought and we had lawn.  I am told this is a Texas Umbrella Tree. It sheds flowers, seed pods and leaves depending on the season.  We have trimmed it back many times, our friends never got bigger than 8 feet in Spring Valley, CA. It obviously likes this clay ground.  Do you have a connection to trees?  It reminds me of all the relatives of the past hanging on the branches of the past.

Isaac is as far back as I can get on the Fleetwood side.

Searching for any information on the Anderson family that live in Boston, (Roslindale) Massachusetts. My grandfather was Anton Anderson from Sweden and his wife, my grandmother was Carin Svensson also from Sweden, Her name is also spelled either Carin, Carrie, Karen, Karin. They would be buried in Massachusetts.

There was only one son, my dad, Elmer Anton Anderson.

Hello, I am looking for any information on my grandparents Cyril O'Brien and Adelaide Minall. They lived in Burlington Vt, His parents were Edward Hayes O'Brien and Sara Jane Connolly. Cyril was a letter carrier in the 1950's and 1960's and loved music. Cyril's grand father Timothy immigrated from Tipperary Ireland around 1854.

Any information, photos, or stories any one has on O'Brien I would very much appreciate seeing or reading.

Hello, I am looking for any information anyone can forward concerning my g grandfather George J Long. He lived in Warren with his wife Lillian Hutchinson for a few years. He was a judge in Montpelier  for a few years and was involved in many different occupations throughout the years. He and Lillian had three children, Lauren George, Ruth Francis and Lillian Lepha. Hong Kong is a small island off the coast of South China. It’s northern shore is separated from the mainland by a sheltered stretch of water known as Hong Kong Harbour.
