Hebert surname assistance

I've asked this question on the French-Canadian list but it's really much broader than that one list. Do you know anything about the French surname HEBERT and its possible connection to Scotland. DNA tests I've taken show some significant French heritage connections: most of the closest surname y-DNA results are all men with the HEBERT surname. One of these men has told me of a significant number of MAXWELL surname ancestors. Those MAXWELLS are all Scottish as are the MAXWELLS in my own family t

HONG KONG DEATH CERTIFICATES

13559135064?profile=original

Obtaining Hong Kong death certificates for anyone who died in the 19th. century is difficult, if not impossible.  However, all is not lost if the individual was a British soldier - or was the wife or child of a British soldier.  The answer lies in the Army Chaplain's Registers held by the General Register Office in the UK.  Back in the 1980s I spent weeks extracting Hong Kong related entries from the GRO indexes.  The story of this task, plus a list of Hong Kong British Army Deaths 1860 - 1867 a

Un triple mariage

Lundi, 23 novembre 1671.

Paternal Line

I am trying to find sources for the wife of my fifth great grandfather, Robert Hunter of Giles County, Virginia. I have several names for her, but feel a mistake has been made with the name of Atkins. I feel her name is Mildred (Millie) Lewis, but cannot find any records for her birth, marriage or death. Thank you.

Before the  drought and we had lawn.  I am told this is a Texas Umbrella Tree. It sheds flowers, seed pods and leaves depending on the season.  We have trimmed it back many times, our friends never got bigger than 8 feet in Spring Valley, CA. It obviously likes this clay ground.  Do you have a connection to trees?  It reminds me of all the relatives of the past hanging on the branches of the past.

Hong Kong Water Police

Hong Kong is a small island off the coast of South China. It’s northern shore is separated from the mainland by a sheltered stretch of water known as Hong Kong Harbour. The Star Ferry which crosses the harbour has been in operation since the late 1880s and their green and white steamers are now famous throughout the world. No trip to Hong Kong would be complete without a ride across the harbour – top deck or bottom deck the choice is yours.13559135253?profile=original
