Michael Harcourt, ca 1855

A portrait of Michael Harcourt, son of Luke Harcourt, who immigrated from Ireland to Ontario in the early 1800's. Michael served as an assemblyman for Haldimand county. The "fighting Harcourt's" are connected to my Meilleur line by marriage, and are the source of some colorful family history!
