Joseph & Ada Meilleur, 1948

My maternal great-grandparents, Joseph-Yvon Meilleur and Marie Florida Goupille, taken on their silver wedding anniversary in 1948. Joseph was a lumberman and early settler of Grand Mariais in Michigan's upper peninsula. In the early 1900's, he moved his family by horse and sled to Munising. The family eventually migrated to Detroit.
