I am interested in finding information about the Philip Weitzel family.  Philip was born in 1804,  His wife Margaretha was born about 1800.  Their children John (b. 02 Feb 1837), Theresia (b. 15 Oct 1838), and Lucia (b. 06 Dec 1842) were from Fulda, Hesse, Germany.  They settled in Mercer County, Ohio in 1848.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kudos to Hollywood Cemetery - Houston Tx

Good day all,

I felt compelled to write to all about Hollywood Cemetery in Houston Tx to help turn around their image.  I recently contact Cheryl Danford who is the manager of the property to assist me with locating a couple of location of graves for families from FindAGrave.com.  Little did I know that Cheryl was a genealogy buff herself and used that site to help locate some of her relatives.  In chatting with her via email for two or three weeks she had downloaded the photo requests and offer

Hughes, Thomas and Ada

I am looking for the relatives of Thomas J. Hughes and Ada M. Hughes who lived, died, and are buried in Maricopa County Arizona. I have their death certificates and burial plots.  They had one daughter, Norma Elizabeth Hughes, born in 1906.  Norma had a son, James Edward Smith, born in August 1924.  James was adopted to a family in Phoenix.

I have James's birth certificate, the original adoption papers and his information through his death in 1985.  I have all the adoptive parents's information,

My Genealogy Day 9/17/2011

Sometimes I am just overwhelmed by the unorganized boxes of papers, and un-filed documents on my computer.  I can only imagine how much easier my life and my research would be if I took the time to get myself organized.

Well, today is the day that I begin to attempt to clean my room and prepare it for all the materials I have.  I have a small space to put all of my things in...I always feel cluttered.  There has got to be a better way!  I must focus and take one day at a time and one area of my
