Seek and Ye Shall Find

I've often found when researching that the tinest snippet of information can lead to a wonderful surprise.  For example, typing surnames into Google Book Search has led me to the following:

I found a great source record last week at the library. It’s a book called Revolutionary War Soldiers of Western North Carolina: Burke County, Vol. 1. The author is Emmet R. White and it was published in 1984 by Southern Historical Press, Inc. of Easley, S.C.

Last year Peter Zheutlin, the author of the nonfiction book “Around the World on Two Wheels: Annie Londonderry’s Extraordinary Ride,” came to the Leach Library, here in Londonderry, New Hampshire,
