Hi Sharon: My Murney's were/are from NY state and Michigan and later Illinois and Ohio. We believe but have not proved, that they originated in Ireland. I and the surviving Murney's that I have joined up with in the Murney quest, have set up our genealogical tree on Ancestry.com. hello my name is sharon murney i have a twin sister called julie we are 32 years old and a brother called thomas who is 34. My fathers name is also thomas patrick murney who is 54.
