Shoemaker family, ca. 1875

Wonderful photo of the Shoemaker's of Tazewell and Ogle counties, Illinois. The Shoemaker's are part of my paternal family, and originate in Gloucester county, New Jersey. The patriarchs of the family are Pearson (seated with book) and Elmore (standing behind Pearson) Shoemaker, twin brothers b. 1809 in Butler Co., Ohio.
