A portrait of my great grandmother, Helen Foxton as a teenager. She married Joseph Costello, a man that did not treat her or her oldest daughter well due to a drinking problem. He abandoned her after spending her inheritance in Canada. returning occasionally,eventually abandoning her completely. Her father was a seargant in the Buffalo Police Department and came from Ireland or England from a fairly wealthy family. Unfortunately I am at a dead end with the Foxton family genealogy.
