My father Patrick Cecil Crowe, b. 1908 in San Antonio, Texas, d. 1967 in Brooklyn, NY. Patrick served in the Navy from 1928 and 1932 aboard the battleship USS Texas. Patrick was of Irish, English, Scotch, German, Norman French, French Huguenot, Dutch, Swiss, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish heritage. He also had Cherokee and Shawnee Native American ancestors. This really epitomizes the melting pot of America but, my daughter's children can add Welsh, Italian and Polish to that mixture.
