Marguerite (Gobin) Gervais was wife of Basil Gervais, the first white child born in St. Paul, MN September 4, 1839. He was the son of the original settlers and founders of Little Canada, MN: Benjamin Gervais (1786-1876) and Genevieve (Larans/Laurance) Gervais (1804-1885)
