Leah Miers (abt 1905)

Leah Miers played the violin when she was growning up in Hearne, Texas. She won a contest for her playing and her mother, Nettie Grigsby Miers, awarded her with a little white Bible that included an inscription saying that it was in appreciation for her playing the violin and winning the contest.
