My Father died when I was 6 years old. He was killed-alone- on the night shift at Atlantic Ice & Tea (Uniform seen here) while loading a crane of water that went overhead. It broke and the electric wire with it-hit his wedding ring. Killing him instantly. They found him the next morning. SS paid my Mother with 2 children, $18 a month.
