Owen, the oldest of 4 brothers, came from Ireland (Sligo) in the mid 1840's with his 3 brothers. Their parents, William and Ellen, died on the way over. Owen and his brother Denis settled in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia, while their 2 brothers Martin and Anthony migrated to New Orleans, LA. Owen is buried at St. Anne's Church Cemetery @ Memphis & Lehigh.
