Where Was the Wyatt Lankford Family in 1860?

This week I’m looking for ancestors of Leaty (Lankford) West, whose gravestone I found several weeks ago. I have her parents as Wyatt Lankford and Morning Tabitha Bruer.

    Hi Kate, sorry it took me so long to reply. I do have the 1850 census you mention and I think that is likely the correct family. I've looked at that 1860 census numerous times. The mother's name being "Lestilla" is what throws me off. I have her enumerated as "Talytha" in 1870, which is much closer to the "Tobitha" in 1850 and also as "Litha" on her daughter's death certificate.

    So, I'm guessing that Leaty's birth year is wrong on her gravemarker, which happens once in a while :)

    Hi Tonia- I'm assuming you have Ancestry.com, check this census record, there is a Lydia age 9:
