I'm working on an article for the WorldVitalRecords newsletter (I'm the editor) about genealogy newsletters. Which ones do you read regularly? What do you like about them? What would you reccomend?
Thanks! Gena Philibert Ortega Community Manager GenealogyWise
HI, Gena. I answered you on Facebook, too. I always get great information from Dick Eastman's online blog. And the Family Tree magazine blog. The come directly to my inbox, so it is easy to keep up with them. Others I look at on my RSS feed- and I don't always remember to look there.
I read the Wood County (TX) Genealogical Society Bulletin at http://woodtxgene.com a lot, mainly because I'm the editor. (shameless self-promotion) :-) What I like is that we now have a way to communicate more often than monthly or quarterly and that we are getting many more contacts to our local society by non-members who discover us on the web. Obviously this is a combination of things: web site, resources, and communication all rolled into one package.
