Hi all I would like to know if anyone know of the SAVIEL family in India and Burma.The SAVIEL family has been in INDIA for many years and Origiated from Europe in the 18th and 19th century.My SAVIEL family descended from GEORGE THOMAS SAVIEL who was born in 1827 India and married first to SOPHIA MARY MORLEY in CALCUTTA INDIA in 1853.HE later went to work for the Public Works Department in BURMA in 1861.In 1873 he married ROSE HNIN SI in Thonze,BURMA and had three childerns called LILLY SAVIEL, EDWIN DAVID SAVIEL and ANNIE SAVIEL all were born in BURMA between 1874- 1878.If any one has information of them let me know at my email address.Yoursfaithfully,GEORGE THOMAS SAVIELgtsaviel@gmail.com24 July 2009
Edwin David Saviel married Daw Hmyin in 1903 and have nine childerns they are George ,James, Mavis May, Doris Hazel, Fred rolan, William Joseph, Harold, Bertram Henry, and Douglas Saviel all were born in Burma.
William Joseph Saviel married Ma Khin Htwe in 1953 Burma and is my father.
