Congratulations Heather! It's great to think that folks appreciate your writing, isn't it? I was thrilled and surprised that my blog "Relatively Curious About Genealogy" was also nominated, and is in the "How To" category. I posted a query in the Forums here wondering just how many of us GenealogyWise members have blogs that were nominated - I'm pretty sure there are several of us.
In regards to Duke's comment - you are not 'required' to vote for any particular number in each category - but if you vote for more than the recommended number, your vote won't count. (Can't just vote for everybody, unfortunately!)
I may be the only naysayer heard, but, I looked at this Family Tree "contest" today It looks skewed to me. I should not be required to vote for X number of websites in each category, so that I may have the privilege of voting for the two sites I do prefer, Imho, there is a hidden agenda. I will not vote. .

I just voted for the five blogs I like and read regularly, and they were spread across only three categories. It's OK to vote once once.
