Great Opportunities for Learning in Second Life

We've submitted bylaws for approval, and now the proposed chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists in Second Life (APG-SL) will be having our third meeting, tonight, Thursday, April 7, at 5:30 pm Second Life time (which is Pacific Time). In keeping with the goals of the organization, we will be having a presentation by a very well-known speaker, on Revolutionary War Research. Members and non-members are invited to attend this presentation. The APG in SL is open to any member of APG, and plans to hold meetings on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Second Life is a free, online virtual world. It is not strictly genealogy oriented, however there are a couple of active genealogy communities that hold regularly scheduled events. A calendar of those events is available at http://brickwalls.ning.com.
