Tomorrow night at our Genealogical Society the topic is to do our own obituary ! I have sat down several times over the past week and this is alot harder than I thought it was going to be. Some were too short and some were way to long. Then I started to think, ok as a genealogist what do I look for when I read an obituary ?
This afternoon I remembered that when my father's cousin's wife passed away , you could just tell that whoever wrote the obit was into genealogy from what was included in it. So I dug though my pack of newspaper articles and pulled hers out. I think using hers as a guideline will help me out.
So off i go to write about my life once again . Wish me luck !
