I started a family tree when I was on a leave of absence from work. I enjoyed working on my family tree so much, that I wanted to do it all the time. I was all absorbed in the history and documents of my family. It gave me a much stronger sense of identity with people I had never met. After I went back to work, I quit my job, started two companies, and now I work at home. I have become the family historian. (You should see the piles of documents, pictures and historical paraphanalia that I have on my desk!)Little did I know that I would find my niche in the world when I started that first family tree.
